Born and Bred in Paris, Noélie Martin, is an artist -flm maker interested in academic
cinema and contemporary practices of moving image.
She focuses her work around what we call Fiction, and Its deconstruction of place and
time. She brings Science-Fiction in everyday environments, which provoke absurd
situations and strange feelings.
The soundtracks mixe up synchronized sounds, post-synchronized and post-producted
sources which disturb the original bearings and give us different time experiences during
the flms.
Her found-footage flm productions, bring together the interests about the moving image
material, as puzzles, and recreate fctions. The image is exposed as an infnite of
possibilities and actions. In her video-clips, the image supports the music, the beats, or
can also come against It and creates displacements.
